About Me

Hi, I’m Katharine – a psychotherapist who believes healing is about more than just talking.

If you’re here, chances are you’re looking for something more than traditional therapy. You want deep, lasting change - not just surface-level coping strategies. You want to understand yourself on a whole new level and break free from the patterns that have been holding you back. That’s exactly where I come in.

I’m a registered psychotherapist in the UK, and I take an integrative, whole-person approach to healing. That means blending scientifically recognised psychotherapy with holistic, intuitive practices - so you can move forward in a way that feels aligned, authentic, and empowering.

How I Got Here

Like many of my clients, my journey into psychotherapy started with my own challenges—navigating relationships, workplace struggles, gender identity and sexuality all while trying to make sense of deep-rooted trauma. For years, I rejected therapy, thinking it was just endless talking. Instead, I sought out alternative ways to understand myself - through travel, holistic healing, and lived experience. Ironically, it was through these explorations that I realised the power of combining both traditional psychotherapy and more intuitive, soul-based healing methods.

After earning my degree in drama and dance (because sometimes words aren’t enough), I spent over a decade living abroad—soaking in new cultures, immersing myself in nature, and working internationally in voluntourism. When my marriage began to unravel, I knew I had to do deeper work and ultimately confronting the parts of myself I had been avoiding. That’s when my curiosity about healing and psychotherapy resurfaced, leading me to complete a master’s degree in integrative psychotherapy and counselling.

How I Work

Healing isn’t a one-size-fits-all process, and it certainly isn’t about just ‘fixing’ symptoms. I work with people who want to explore their inner world with curiosity rather than judgment - those who are ready to break cycles, rewire old narratives, and connect with themselves in a more meaningful way.

I specialise in:

Intergenerational trauma & attachment wounds – understanding the patterns passed down through families and breaking free from them.

Early-life sexual trauma recovery – offering a safe, supportive space for healing and reclaiming your power.

EMDR & the Theta brainwave – using evidence-based and intuitive approaches to release trauma and shift subconscious beliefs.

Creativity & intuition in healing – integrating movement, meditation, and self-expression to deepen self-awareness.

My approach is relational, non-judgmental, and grounded in both science and soul. I lend you my trust in the healing process until you’re ready to trust it - and yourself - on your own.

Beyond the Therapy Room

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me at the piano, out in nature, at conferences or trainings, in movement-based meditation, and always discovering new ideas about human consciousness and healing.

At least once a year, I go on a long-distance pilgrimage or travel adventure - traveling slow, soaking in synchronicities, reconnecting with the simplicity of life, and letting my own personal insights settle in.

Above all, I believe in the power of authenticity - helping you strip away the layers of ‘shoulds’ and step fully into who you were always meant to be. It’s an honour to walk alongside my clients on their journeys, and I celebrate every big and small moment of growth along the way.
